Emirates Introduces A380 and Premium Economy on Delhi-Dubai Route from October 25
Emirates has reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing travel options for passengers traveling to and from India with exciting updates in its services. Starting this October, the airline will introduce its highly anticipated A380 services to Delhi, a crucial hub in its global network. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, expressed enthusiasm over this rollout, emphasizing the strong demand for travel to India and the distinguished status of Delhi as the airline’s third destination for A380 flights, joining Mumbai and Bengaluru.
A380 Services Enhance Travel Experience
The introduction of A380 services to Delhi is designed to enhance the overall travel experience. Emirates will augment its existing Boeing 777 operations on the Delhi route, which already includes a versatile four-class layout featuring Premium Economy. The new A380 aircraft will showcase luxurious cream leather seats that provide additional legroom and improved recline options. Additionally, passengers will enjoy catering served on chinaware, coupled with upgraded onboard amenities, ensuring a comfortable journey.
Kolkata Receives Next-Generation A350 Service
From October 25, travelers flying between Kolkata and Dubai can look forward to an upgrade as Emirates transitions its daily service, EK570 and EK571, from a Boeing 777 to the state-of-the-art A350. This change will bring Emirates’ sought-after cabin products, notably Premium Economy, to the Kolkata route. Other flights operating on a retrofitted Boeing 777 will continue to offer Premium Economy as well, expanding this feature across all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai.
By the end of October, customers will have the opportunity to secure Premium Economy on not just the four daily services from Delhi, but also on 12 weekly flights from Kolkata, 22 from Mumbai, and additional services from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Kochi. This extensive network showcases Emirates’ commitment to providing enhanced travel options across India.
Strategic Investments in Indian Operations
These aircraft upgrades are part of Emirates’ broader strategy to invest in its Indian operations, where it currently services nine key gateways with 167 weekly flights to Dubai and various destinations worldwide. The airlines cover cities such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram.
In addition to expanding flight services, Emirates is enhancing customer engagement by opening retail travel shops in major Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai. These outlets aim to provide comprehensive support for international travel and booking assistance. Upcoming stores in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, along with a dedicated call center in Mumbai, further reflect Emirates’ commitment to customer service in the region.
With these initiatives, Emirates is set to improve the travel experience for passengers in India, ensuring that they enjoy luxurious and comfortable journeys to their destinations. The airline’s determination to expand its footprint in the Indian market demonstrates its commitment to fostering travel connections and providing excellent service as part of a forward-thinking strategy.
