Emirates to Fly A380 on Dubai-Delhi Route Starting October

Emirates is set to enhance its services between Dubai and Delhi, introducing the iconic Airbus A380 on this route starting from October 25, 2026. This move demonstrates the airline’s commitment to improving travel experiences for its passengers and reflects its ongoing investment in the Indian market.

Launch of the A380 on Dubai-Delhi Route

The introduction of the Airbus A380 will make Delhi the third Indian city to be serviced by Emirates’ flagship aircraft, joining Mumbai and Bengaluru. The A380 will operate on flights EK512 and EK513 in a comprehensive four-class configuration. This will complement the already retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft, which also features a four-class layout, including the sought-after Premium Economy.

With this addition, all flights between Dubai and Delhi will now offer Premium Economy, making it easier for travelers to access this latest seating option. Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the company’s longstanding commitment to the Indian market. He expressed excitement about the introduction of A380 services to Delhi and highlighted the airline’s dedication to enhancing travel experiences for passengers.

Expanding the Premium Economy Experience

From October, Premium Economy will not only be available on A380-operated flights but also on several Boeing 777 services, including EK511, EK515, and EK517. The airline has made it a priority to expand this offering across India, making Premium Economy available on flights to six major cities. Notably, Emirates will operate a daily Kolkata–Dubai service on the next-generation Airbus A350, which also includes the Premium Economy option.

By the end of October, travelers will find Premium Economy services on various routes, including four daily services from Delhi, 12 weekly routes from Kolkata, 22 weekly flights from Mumbai, and several services from Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. This expansion signifies Emirates’ commitment to cater to the diverse travel needs of Indian customers.

Enhancing the Customer Experience

In addition to expanding its service offerings, Emirates has launched travel retail stores in key cities like Delhi and Mumbai to provide personalized travel support and information about its services. With plans for additional stores in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, along with a dedicated call center in Mumbai, the airline aims to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

Passengers traveling from any of Emirates’ nine Indian gateways can also enjoy regionally inspired menus and a team of multilingual cabin crew. The airline boasts access to over 6,500 entertainment channels, featuring content in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Kannada.

Currently, Emirates operates 167 weekly flights between India and Dubai, connecting travelers to nearly 140 destinations across its extensive global network. With the introduction of the A380 and expanded Premium Economy offerings, Emirates is poised to further solidify its presence in India while enhancing the overall travel experience for its customers.
