– An extensive collection of over 1,500 geospatial data layers
– In excess of 100 applications, both two-dimensional and three-dimensional, that cater to multiple sectors

During the unveiling event, Sheikh Hamdan reviewed upcoming project phases that incorporate practical applications intended to support urban planning, infrastructure, and asset management, as well as rainfall simulation techniques and digital tools that improve data-driven decision-making.

Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai, emphasized that the Digital Twin project encapsulates His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s forward-thinking vision. “This initiative enhances our ability for efficient planning and informed decision-making,” he stated, highlighting it as a transformative milestone for Dubai’s ambitions to become a leading global city.

Eng. Maryam Al Muhairi, CEO of the Buildings Regulation and Permits Agency at the Municipality, outlined that the Digital Twin provides a unified platform for spatial and operational data.
