Atlys Launches First Store in Dubai: Travel Tech Update

Atlys, a forward-thinking travel technology firm specializing in visa facilitation, has inaugurated its first experience center in BurJuman Mall, Dubai. This physical location is set up to provide travelers with expert, face-to-face support for visa applications across more than 120 countries, marking a significant milestone as Atlys expands its global presence.

UAE as a Key Market for Atlys

The United Arab Emirates stands as Atlys’ most crucial market outside of India. Nearly half of the company’s operations now derive from international markets, with countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia contributing significantly. The UAE, characterized by its large expatriate community and status as a strategic hub for both business and leisure travel, has been pivotal in shaping Atlys’ global strategy since its market debut in 2024.

A Unique Experience Center

The new experience center is thoughtfully designed to eliminate the uncertainties often associated with visa applications. Recognizing that securing a visa is often as critical as the journey itself, this facility allows travelers to walk in, meet experts, and have their documents reviewed—all of which provides peace of mind during a potentially stressful process. This hands-on experience aims to enhance Atlys’ visibility and accessibility for travelers throughout the UAE, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to exceptional service.

Leadership Insight and Business Growth

Mohak Nahta, the Founder and CEO of Atlys, shared insights regarding the center’s launch: “Our goal has always been to streamline international travel, and the visa process is the starting point. The experience center introduces a new way for travelers to interact with Atlys, offering expert guidance in-store while maintaining the speed and transparency of our app.” With the UAE being at the nexus of global travel, it was a natural choice for Atlys’ first physical location.

Atlys is currently on an impressive growth trajectory, having recently completed a $36 million Series C funding round led by Susquehanna Asia VC, along with existing investors such as Elevation Capital and Peak XV Partners. The influx of capital is being directed towards expanding into new markets, reinforcing leadership in established regions, and advancing the company’s AI initiatives across the visa lifecycle. They are currently on track to facilitate over 700,000 visas annually, reflecting an 11-fold growth since their Series B funding in 2024.

A Welcoming Space for Travelers

Situated on the third floor of BurJuman Mall, the experience center offers a relaxed atmosphere tailored for travelers. Visitors can discuss their travel plans with knowledgeable advisors, receive document assessments, and gauge their chances of approval before proceeding with applications. Special attention is given to complex applications where meticulous preparation is crucial. While in-store applications can be initiated, subsequent processes are streamlined through the Atlys app, showcasing a seamless blend of personal interaction and technology.

Overall, the launch of Atlys’ experience center in Dubai represents a significant advancement in the way travelers approach the often-daunting visa application process. By combining expert advice with digital efficiency, Atlys is poised to make international travel more accessible and less stressful for its clients.
