Dubai’s Economy and Tourism Offers Hotel Discounts for Inviting Loved Ones
Residents of Dubai now have an exciting opportunity to showcase their vibrant city through a new initiative called “A Dubai Invite.” This program encourages locals to act as ambassadors for Dubai by inviting friends and family to explore the emirate, all while enjoying exclusive rewards and offers.
About “A Dubai Invite”
Launched by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), this initiative is set to run until October 31, 2026. It is open to all residents of Dubai, catering to the emirate’s diverse community. The aim is to promote the unique experiences that Dubai has to offer, allowing residents to share their love for the city with their visitors.
Exclusive Benefits for Residents
Participants in the “A Dubai Invite” program can enjoy significant perks, including discounts of up to 45% on hotel stays at a selection of premium properties. Guests also have the chance to receive room rate-equivalent credits, which can be used at renowned hotels like W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, and other major venues across the city. This creates a win-win situation for both residents and their guests, as they can experience luxury accommodations at a reduced price.
But the benefits don’t stop at hotels. The program extends to several popular attractions as well, with discounts available at Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure, and the Grand Hyatt Waterpark, among others. Moreover, residents can enjoy dining discounts at celebrated restaurants like Asia Asia, Ula, and Lock, Stock & Barrel. These offers allow locals to enhance their hosting experience while showcasing the culinary delights and entertainment options that Dubai has to offer.
Additional Incentives from Careem
In partnership with Careem, the program also includes complimentary Careem Plus memberships along with transport rebates on services like Hala Taxi. This added layer of convenience makes it easier for visitors to navigate the city and enhances their overall experience. All promotions linked to this initiative can be redeemed until December 31, 2026, ensuring plenty of time for residents and their guests to take full advantage of the perks.
How to Participate
Residents eager to join the “A Dubai Invite” program should note that visitors must arrive in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026. However, it’s crucial for residents to register their guests through the official program platform by September 30 to unlock the available benefits. The visitor arrivals will be verified through a streamlined process managed by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA-Dubai), ensuring a smooth experience for everyone involved.
Once verified, residents can access a range of benefits across various participating hotels, attractions, and dining venues. Each resident has the opportunity to unlock up to three benefits throughout the campaign, with one benefit applicable per guest party, making it a rewarding experience for both the hosts and their invitees.
Noor Al Geziry, the Assistant Vice President of Special Projects & MENA at DET, emphasized that residents are the city’s most effective ambassadors. The initiative aims to strengthen personal connections and credibility in travel choices, making “A Dubai Invite” not just a program but a celebration of Dubai’s rich culture and community. This initiative is also aligned with the goals of UAE’s Year of Family, promoting hospitality and unity in the best possible way.
