Emirates has revealed plans to introduce upgraded Boeing 777 planes equipped with Premium Economy on selected routes, specifically between Dubai and Beirut, and Dubai and Beijing, beginning in early 2026. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the airline’s cabin offerings and onboard services across its international network.

From January 6, 2026, Emirates will operate the enhanced Boeing 777 on flights EK953 and EK954 that connect Dubai and Beirut. Subsequently, flights EK306 and EK307 between Dubai and Beijing will commence on February 1, 2026.

With these updates, Beijing will become the fourth city in mainland China to receive Emirates’ latest aircraft and advanced cabin features. Passengers flying to and from Beirut will have the opportunity to experience the airline’s acclaimed Premium Economy class, along with a new Business Class layout featuring direct aisle access in a 1-2-1 configuration.

For the Beirut route, flight EK953 will depart Dubai at 3:40 PM, arriving in Beirut at 5:00 PM. The return flight EK954 will leave Beirut at 7:45 PM, landing in Dubai at 12:50 AM. This schedule facilitates convenient onward connections to numerous destinations with significant Lebanese populations, such as Sydney, Melbourne, New York, and Miami. For travelers heading to Beijing, flight EK306 will leave Dubai at 3:20 AM and arrive at 2:45 PM. The return service EK307 will depart Beijing at 12:40 AM, landing in Dubai at 5:30 AM, allowing smooth connections to various global destinations.

The upgraded Boeing 777 boasts a modernized four-class layout, featuring refreshed interiors highlighted by contemporary color schemes and wooden finishes. Each aircraft includes 260 Economy Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, 40 Business Class seats with a 1-2-1 layout, and eight First Class Suites, ensuring passenger comfort and space for relaxation or work.
