Dubai initiates AI training initiative for 14,000 companies.

Dubai is setting the stage for innovation by training over 14,000 businesses to harness the power of advanced AI systems that act autonomously. This initiative, spearheaded by Dubai Chambers, aims to elevate the capabilities of private-sector companies beyond mere interactive AI tools, shifting towards systems that can undertake tasks and make decisions with minimal human intervention.

Empowering Businesses with AI Training

The program is designed specifically for member companies of Dubai Chambers’ Business Groups and Business Councils. Implemented through the recently established Dubai Chambers Academy, the initiative offers an integrated e-learning platform featuring specialized training on Agentic AI, alongside various other programs tailored for the private sector. This educational effort is part of a broader drive to advance AI integration under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai.

Launched on September 1, the Academy’s unveiling was attended by key figures, including H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori and H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah. “Transitioning our private sector towards Agentic AI showcases Dubai’s dedication to advancing its leaders’ vision. We are preparing our business community to effectively adopt and implement cutting-edge technologies, creating sustainable value,” stated Al Mansoori. Such efforts are expected to enhance companies’ competitiveness and facilitate innovation in a rapidly evolving economy.

Transforming AI from Concept to Implementation

Participants in the training program will delve into the latest Agentic AI solutions, learning how to leverage these tools to improve operational efficiency and accelerate decision-making processes. The training curriculum will also cover practical strategies for adopting this technology, helping businesses pinpoint areas where AI can yield the most significant impact.

“Agentic AI is revolutionizing company operations by enabling more effective decision-making, managing complex tasks, and enhancing overall productivity,” Al Mansoori emphasized. The aim is to arm the private sector with the necessary skills and expertise to not only understand Agentic AI but also apply its benefits in everyday business scenarios.

Creating a Robust Agentic AI Framework

These training sessions are just one component of a comprehensive program aimed at integrating Agentic AI into Dubai’s private sector. Additional initiatives focus on establishing incubators for startups that specialize in Agentic AI technology, supporting the development of innovative solutions, and promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing among members of Dubai Chambers.

Through these collaborative efforts, Dubai aims to not only bolster its private-sector competitiveness but also solidify its status as a global leader in adopting technologies of the future. This initiative coincides with the formation of the Executive Committee for Agentic AI, a body tasked with accelerating AI adoption across various industries in the emirate.

Business Groups and Business Councils play a critical role in driving economic and commercial growth in Dubai. They ensure diverse sector representation and foster constructive dialogue between the business community and government entities, ultimately contributing to a more robust business environment and sustainable economic progress in the region.
