Emirates Introduces A350 Service from Taipei to Dubai

Emirates has recently enhanced its services from Taipei to Dubai by introducing the modern Airbus A350, marking a significant milestone for the airline in Taiwan. This move not only brings a new level of comfort to the skies but also incorporates the Premium Economy class, catering to passengers seeking an elevated flying experience.

Enhanced Connectivity with Airbus A350

Starting from July 1, 2026, Emirates will operate its daily flights EK386 and EK387 on the Taipei–Dubai route using the Airbus A350. This new aircraft complements the existing daily Airbus A380 service, offering travelers increased flexibility and options for journeying between these two cities. Passengers can now take advantage of greater connectivity through Dubai, with access to over 150 destinations across the Emirates network, including 42 cities in Europe. With this enhancement, Emirates underscores its dedication to providing an extensive and convenient travel experience.

Luxury Reimagined in the A350 Cabin

The Airbus A350 features a sophisticated three-class setup, comprising 298 seats: 32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy, and 238 in Economy. Notably, the aircraft benefits from updated interiors, allowing for improved inflight entertainment options, state-of-the-art onboard connectivity, and a quieter travel experience, setting a new standard for comfort in the skies. Each seat is outfitted with an ultra-high-definition entertainment display, Bluetooth audio capabilities, and USB charging ports. Furthermore, more luxurious features like wireless charging and electronic window blinds are available for Business Class and Premium Economy travelers.

Nassar Bahlooq, the Emirates Manager for Taiwan, emphasized that the introduction of the Airbus A350 reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to enhancing travel for passengers originating from or heading to Taiwan. The goal is to enhance not just the travel experience but also the overall connectivity options available for travelers aiming to reach Europe, Africa, South America, and beyond.

The Premium Economy Experience

Passengers seated in Premium Economy can enjoy greatly improved comfort with wider leather seats, enhanced legroom, and an overall layout designed for long-distance travel. The arrangement features a 2-3-2 seating configuration, allowing for added personal space. Additional perks for Premium Economy travelers include a complimentary welcome drink, seasonal meal selections, amenity kits, priority boarding, dedicated check-in at Dubai International Airport, and an impressive baggage allowance of up to 35 kg.

A Look at Business and Economy Class

Business Class in the A350 is set up in a 1-2-1 configuration, allowing for direct aisle access alongside fully flat beds. Each seat includes a spacious 20-inch 4K Ultra HD screen, personal minibar, and Wi-Fi charging capabilities, with gourmet multi-course dining available on board. For those flying in Economy Class, the experience is enhanced by adjustable leather headrests, individual device charging options, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 13.3-inch 4K HD touchscreen featuring an updated entertainment system.

The introduction of the Airbus A350 is a progressive step for Emirates, bolstering its operations in Taiwan and significantly expanding travel choices through its Dubai hub. With this enhanced service, Emirates continues to set high standards in aviation, promising an exceptional journey for passengers traveling between Taipei and Dubai.
