REACH Middle East invites applications for UAE’s second proptech program.
REACH Middle East Launches Second Accelerator Programme for Proptech Startups
REACH Middle East, the regional branch of a globally recognized proptech accelerator, is set to launch its second accelerator programme aimed at innovative startups in the real estate technology sector. This new initiative will run from November 2026 to August 2027, with applications closing on 30 August 2026.
Accelerator Programme Overview
The programme is backed by Second Century Ventures and endorsed by the Dubai Land Department, offering selected startups an array of benefits that include funding, expert mentorship, access to a wide network of investors, and opportunities for global connections. These resources are designed to help startups scale their property technology solutions effectively and efficiently.
This initiative specifically supports emerging companies focused on developing technological solutions that tackle real-world challenges in the real estate sector. Additionally, it aligns with several key strategic initiatives, such as the UAE Digital Economy Strategy and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, helping to create a robust ecosystem for proptech innovation.
Success of the Inaugural Cohort
The first cohort of REACH Middle East included seven promising proptech startups, each set to graduate in August 2026. Throughout the programme, participants achieved significant milestones, including the launch of new products, successful fundraising rounds, and substantial customer growth. Such advancements validate the effectiveness of the accelerator in nurturing talent and entrepreneurship within the region.
Managing Director of REACH Middle East, Siddiq Farid, remarked, “The regional real estate market continues to defy expectations. While some markets struggle, the resilience and determination of businesses in our region remain strong. Despite ongoing challenges, we are seeing a rapid return of confidence, affirming that Dubai boasts the most resilient real estate market globally.”
Supporting Local and Emirate Initiatives
This accelerator programme not only seeks to foster innovation but also aims to prioritize national and Emirate-led initiatives. Key partnerships with stakeholders like Dubai Technology Entrepreneurship Campus (Dtec) and Dubai Future District Fund will provide critical space and support, emphasizing the importance of collaboration within Dubai’s thriving technology ecosystem.
As the ME real estate market evolves, REACH Middle East is on the lookout for the next wave of proptech talent—companies that are equipped to meet market demands and deliver solutions essential for the growth of the real estate sector.
In summary, the upcoming accelerator programme is an invitation for entrepreneurial visionaries eager to make an impact in the proptech landscape. With the right support, these startups have the potential to contribute significantly to the Middle East’s $1.3 trillion real estate pipeline. Applications are now open, and REACH Middle East eagerly anticipates the exciting ideas that will emerge from this initiative.
