Dubai is taking bold steps toward positioning itself as a leader in autonomous logistics with the launch of SHIFFT, a new venture established by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and Oxa, a pioneer in self-driving technology. This initiative aims to revolutionize the logistics sector in Dubai by integrating advanced autonomous vehicle technologies into its operations.

Transforming Logistics with Autonomous Technology

SHIFFT will focus on developing self-driving solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations in key locations such as ports and airports. The venture plans to implement its first large-scale commercial deployment in Dubai by the end of 2027. The autonomous systems will benefit from Oxa’s cloud-based fleet management platform, Oxa Hub, as well as its comprehensive autonomy hardware systems.
