Avixa Unveils 2026 Dubai Infocomm Edge Event
Avixa has exciting plans for its upcoming event, Infocomm Edge, set to debut in the EMEA region. Scheduled for October 27–28, 2026, at the Festival Arena in Dubai, this two-day gathering will focus on experiential ProAV showcases tailored for senior leaders and decision-makers from various industry sectors.
Innovative Approach to ProAV Events
Unlike typical trade shows, Infocomm Edge will emphasize interactive experiences and immersive activations rather than conventional exhibition booths. The venue, covering 7,200 square meters, will feature a central stage strategically designed to present AV solutions in a cohesive and narrative-driven manner. This reimagined layout positions attendees at the heart of the action, fostering engagement and understanding of the showcased technologies.
Highlighting the GCC’s Innovation Potential
According to Avixa’s CEO, David Labuskes, this event aims to underscore the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region’s capacity for innovation. “The GCC possesses both the vision and resources to transform innovative concepts into actual products, bolstered by a talented professional AV community,” Labuskes commented. Infocomm Edge seeks to leverage this innovative spirit by creating a platform where cutting-edge AV solutions can be highlighted and explored in depth.
A Collaborative Approach with Local Integrators
To further enhance the event’s impact, Avixa has appointed Cara Turner from the B2B exhibition consultancy, Integre, as the event director. Turner noted the challenges faced by high-level decision-makers when navigating a standard trade show setting. “It’s difficult for them to conceptualize solutions while strolling a traditional exhibition floor,” she said. To address this, Infocomm Edge will employ a unique co-creation model, involving the design and deployment community in its planning phase for the first time.
Engagement Through Narrative-Led Presentations
Activations at Infocomm Edge will be spearheaded by local integrators, creating a more relatable experience for attendees. In addition to the engaging displays, there will be networking pods designed to facilitate deeper connections among industry leaders. Presentations will prioritize narrative-led approaches over sales pitches, emphasizing real-world applications of AV solutions, integration capabilities, and delivery standards.
Infocomm Edge is poised to revolutionize how the ProAV industry engages with decision-makers. By centering the event around experiential learning and collaboration, Avixa aims to foster an environment that not only showcases the latest technologies but also encourages dialogue and innovation. With this unique approach, Infocomm Edge promises to be a game-changer for the ProAV community in the EMEA region.
