The most recent edition of the World Governments Summit, held in Dubai from February 3 to 5, 2026, saw unprecedented participation. With over 6,250 attendees representing more than 150 governments—including over 60 heads of state and 500 ministers—the event marked the highest level of leadership involvement in its history.
Comprehensive Engagement and Strategic Themes
This landmark edition included over 445 dialogue sessions with 450 influential figures globally and attracted 700 CEOs from leading international companies along with 87 Nobel laureates. The summit’s extensive agenda featured 25 global forums and more than 45 high-profile ministerial meetings, all aimed at redefining the future of governance. Key discussions revolved around five essential themes: global governance and leadership, community wellbeing, economic opportunities, future urban dynamics, and emerging global perspectives. To enrich these discussions, 36 strategic reports were released in collaboration with prominent think tanks and academic institutions, alongside the third Global Ministers Survey to assist governments in addressing urgent issues.
