Emirates introduces Premium Economy service on Montréal–Dubai flight

Emirates has recently introduced its Airbus A350 aircraft on the Montréal to Dubai route, marking a significant enhancement to its long-haul service. This addition also includes the launch of a Premium Economy cabin, offering travelers a new choice for comfort and travel experience.

Airbus A350 Joins Emirates’ Fleet

The Airbus A350 has made its debut in Emirates’ Americas network, with Montréal being the first destination to be served by this state-of-the-art aircraft. This transition replaces the Boeing 777 on daily flights EK243 and EK244. The aircraft operates with a schedule that fits well for both travelers departing from Dubai at 02:45 hours and arriving in Montréal at 07:35 hours, then returning from Montréal at 10:40 hours to touch down in Dubai at 08:00 hours the next day, all times local.

Modern Comforts and Enhanced Interiors

The integration of the A350 into Emirates’ fleet adds to its existing offerings of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft across the Americas. Toronto continues to be serviced daily by the iconic Airbus A380. Notably, the Airbus A350 features updated cabin interiors that promise a more spacious atmosphere with higher ceilings and wider aisles. Packed with advanced cabin technology, this aircraft enhances the overall travel experience, particularly through its state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system. Passengers can expect a plethora of entertainment options, ensuring they stay engaged throughout their journey.

Premium Economy Experience

One of the standout features of the Airbus A350 is its Premium Economy Class, which includes reclining leather seats complete with leg and foot support, adjustable headrests, charging ports, and side tables. Each seat is equipped with a 13.3-inch personal screen, and the dining experience is optimized with a dedicated Premium Economy menu. Passengers in this class can also enjoy more than 6,500 entertainment channels in multiple languages, including French, making their journey significantly more enjoyable.

The cabin is structured into a three-class layout, showcasing 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 Premium Economy seats arranged in 2-3-2, and 238 Economy Class seats in 3-3-3. Business Class features lie-flat leather seats and large high-definition screens, ensuring passengers indulge in a luxurious flying experience. The airline caters to diverse dietary needs by providing vegetarian and vegan options throughout all classes.

Economy Class travelers will find the seats quite comfortable, offering a pitch of 31–32 inches and a width of 18.4 inches. Each seat is also fitted with a 13.3-inch screen, ensuring ample entertainment options. The aircraft further boosts the travel experience with upgraded lighting, quieter cabins, wider aisles, and enhanced connectivity, including faster Wi-Fi.

Connecting Through Codeshare Partnerships

Emirates has established a codeshare partnership with Air Canada, allowing travelers to connect to an extensive network of 37 additional destinations across Canada and the United States by way of Montréal and Toronto. This connection facilitates seamless travel options for Emirates passengers.

Tickets for the A350 can be conveniently purchased through the Emirates website, their mobile app, retail stores, contact centers, or through travel agents, making it easier than ever for travelers to book their next journey. This latest deployment embodies Emirates’ commitment to improving passenger comfort and experience on long-haul flights, setting a new standard in air travel.
