The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has partnered with the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the largest global event focused on the content creation economy, as a strategic collaborator for its fourth edition, announced on Monday.

Scheduled for January 9 to 11, the summit will take place in notable locations such as Emirates Towers, the Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future, with the theme “Content for Good.”

This partnership underscores a mutual commitment to nurture an environment conducive to the growth of creative industries. It aims to support content creators and digital startups while utilizing cutting-edge digital infrastructure, offering a global stage for experts, entrepreneurs, and creators to share insights and explore collaboration and investment opportunities.

Saeed al-Gergawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, stated that aligning with the summit supports the effort to enhance Dubai’s reputation as a hub for the digital economy and a prime location for startups and investors. He highlighted the city’s robust digital ecosystem and adaptable regulations as key advantages for digital enterprises.

Hussein al-Atoli, Director of the New Media Academy, emphasized that the summit acts as a significant platform for the UAE in championing the content creation and digital economy industries. The collaboration facilitates the exchange of knowledge, innovative thinking, and strategic partnerships, promoting growth within creative sectors both locally and on a global scale.
