Dubai Chamber of Commerce Holds Inaugural 2026 Business Group Meeting
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce recently convened its inaugural quarterly roundtable meeting for Business Groups and Business Councils in 2026. This significant gathering took place at the Dubai Chambers’ headquarters and focused on evaluating both the current and future economic framework in Dubai. Furthermore, it emphasized the emerging opportunities spread across different sectors while presenting the chamber’s initiatives designed to bolster the local private sector.
Enhancing Legislative Frameworks
The chamber is actively working to improve the legislative and regulatory landscape for businesses in Dubai. Throughout 2025, it reviewed a total of 54 laws and proposed regulations in partnership with various Business Groups. Remarkably, the private sector’s recommendations were implemented at a rate of 60%. Additionally, the chamber organized around 250 meetings with Business Groups and Councils, which included annual general meetings. Importantly, 15 of these meetings brought together key government representatives, further fostering collaboration.
New Business Councils and Groups
In its commitment to advocacy, the chamber introduced five new Business Councils in 2025. These new entities represent investors from countries such as Bulgaria, Cyprus, Brazil, Slovakia, and Peru. The launch of the Dubai Delivery Business Group also sparked interest, aiming to foster growth within the delivery sector. This group serves as a unified platform dedicated to representing and promoting the interests of delivery companies within the emirate.
