Expo City Dubai introduces two-year program for Emirati graduates.

Expo City Dubai has officially introduced a new professional development initiative targeting UAE Nationals, with the goal of cultivating future leaders in the fields of real estate and sustainable urban development. This program, named “Exposure,” is tailored specifically for new Emirati graduates and is set to span two years.

The Exposure initiative, spearheaded by Expo City Dubai’s Real Estate and Development division, seeks to provide participants with hands-on experience, essential technical skills, and leadership training that covers the entire real estate value chain. The program is strategically aligned with Expo City’s role as a master developer and supports both the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the D33 Economic Agenda, which prioritize sustainable growth and innovation while integrating Emirati talent into the workforce. The program aims to bridge the gap between academic education and practical leadership, thereby aiding the UAE’s transition toward a knowledge-based economy.

Eligible participants must be UAE Nationals who have graduated in the last two years, with a focus on applicants from fields such as urban planning, engineering, and business. The first year of the program will allow participants to rotate through various departments, including design, project delivery, sales and marketing, program controls, and procurement. In the second year, graduates will focus on a specific area based on their performance, interests, and the needs of the business.

Successful candidates will contribute directly to the master plan of Expo City Dubai, engaging in large-scale urban development projects and benefiting from mentorship provided by senior leaders within the Real Estate and Development team. Those who complete the program successfully may have the opportunity for expedited advancement into significant roles within the division.

Ahmed Al Khatib, the Chief Development and Delivery Officer at Expo City Dubai, emphasized the organization’s commitment to fostering smart and sustainable communities. He stated that this initiative leverages the potential of young Emirati talent by immersing them in various aspects of the real estate process, equipping them to contribute meaningfully to sustainable urban development. Marjan Faraidooni, Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief of Education and Culture, added that the Exposure program exemplifies their dedication to empowering young Emiratis and offers them the chance to be pivotal in creating a technology-enabled, human-centric city.

Applications for this innovative program opened on December 10, and successful candidates will join Expo City Dubai through a two-year temporary contract. This new initiative builds on the organization’s existing commitment to talent development, including the Changemakers Academy and the Return to Work program, both of which support entrepreneurship, innovation, and workforce inclusion. Expo City Dubai envisions that this program will help develop a skilled and future-ready pipeline of Emirati talent, ensuring continued growth in its residential, hospitality, and mixed-use development sectors.
