The upcoming Gulfood 2026 is primed to host over 8,500 exhibitors and visitors from 195 nations, tapping into new sectors, forming key partnerships, and emphasizing advancements in AI and food economy intelligence. This year marks a notable transformation for the global food and beverage sector, propelled by the growing intersection of health, technology, and sustainability. With the food and beverage market expected to reach a staggering $11.37 trillion by 2030, particularly in the MENA region, businesses are eager to explore platforms that offer expansive opportunities and insights.
Positioned at the forefront of this evolution is Dubai, recognized as a leading trade hub and a center for logistics and innovative food systems. Gulfood 2026 will be the largest sourcing event of the year, expanding into two mega venues and opening extensive opportunities for discovery and engagement in the global food landscape. The event aims to leverage the momentum by bringing together over 1.5 million products and participants from around the world, solidifying Dubai’s role as a nexus for the connected food economy.
This year’s edition will host significant partnerships, including collaborations with various government and industry entities from countries like India, Brazil, France, and Canada, along with major brands such as Americana and Fresh Del Monte. According to Mark Napier, Vice President of the Exhibitions Department at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Gulfood 2026 is set to chart the industry’s path for the year and expand its reach across five new sectors, encapsulating the entire food and beverage ecosystem.
In a historic first for global food trade, the sourcing event will span both the Dubai World Trade Centre and the newly established Dubai Exhibition Centre, covering a massive 240,000 square meters. This expansion will facilitate a seamless experience for buyers to explore diverse product categories, from national pavilions to innovative technologies, while unlocking valuable opportunities within the food ecosystem.
India has been appointed the Official Country Partner for Gulfood 2026, showcasing over 600 exhibitors and highlighting its rapidly growing food market. With a projected growth rate of 12.4% through 2028, India’s participation underscores its commitment to transforming the global food landscape. Together, these developments aim to establish Gulfood 2026 as a pivotal venue for networking, insights, and strategic connections across the international food supply chain.
