Emirates Launches A380 Flights to Delhi Starting October

Emirates Airlines is set to enhance its services in India by introducing its remarkable double-decker A380 fleet to Delhi. This development makes Delhi the third city in the country to welcome Emirates’ iconic aircraft after Mumbai and Bengaluru. The highly anticipated A380 flights will commence on October 25, bringing an elevated travel experience for passengers.

Luxury Travel Experiences

The Airbus A380 features a stunning array of amenities, including private suites and shower spas in the First Class cabin, designed to provide unparalleled luxury during air travel. Following its debut, the A380 will operate on flights EK512 and EK513, offering a four-class configuration that includes First Class, Business Class, Economy Class, and Premium Economy. This addition will complement Emirates’ ongoing refitting of its Boeing 777 aircraft to reflect a similar four-class setup across its existing daily flights.

Travelers can now enjoy Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin, characterized by its spacious 2-3-2 seating arrangement, generous 40-inch pitch, and an 8-inch recline feature. Available on all flights between Dubai and Delhi, this cabin class is designed for those seeking comfort without compromising on value. Furthermore, beginning in October, Premium Economy will expand to six Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Kochi, utilizing a fleet that includes the A380, A350, and retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft.

Enhanced Connectivity from Delhi

The launch of the A380 service significantly boosts connectivity on the Delhi-Dubai route, offering travelers multiple cabin options on all daily flights. Premium Economy will specifically service flight EK513, which showcases the A380’s luxurious features, alongside other flights such as EK511, EK515, and EK517 operated via the Boeing 777.

In Kolkata, Emirates will commence A350 operations on the daily Kolkata-Dubai service EK570/571 from October 25. This will introduce Premium Economy to this route as well, ensuring that passengers benefit from the airline’s signature offerings. With EK572/573 operating five times weekly using a retrofitted Boeing 777, Premium Economy will be accessible on all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai, further enriching travel experiences.

Expanding Premium Economy across India

By the end of October, Emirates will feature Premium Economy across six major Indian cities. Travelers in Delhi can look forward to four daily services with enhanced comfort options. Meanwhile, Kolkata will see 12 weekly flights with Premium Economy, while other cities like Mumbai will offer it 22 times a week, Ahmedabad nine times, Bengaluru seven times, and Kochi twice weekly.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the significance of this expansion, highlighting Delhi as a vital hub in the airline’s network. With robust demand for travel to and from India, the introduction of A380 services cements Emirates’ commitment to enhancing customer experiences while connecting major Indian cities with global destinations. This rollout marks a significant step in elevating travel standards across the region.
