Such diversity is essential for fostering a dynamic environment that encourages new ideas and creative solutions to complex challenges.

The Intensive Structure of the Create Apps Accelerator Programme

Over a 45-day period, the Create Apps Accelerator Programme offers an intensive experience for participants. Through structured milestones, expert mentorship, and comprehensive support, teams work to develop functional app prototypes for both iOS and Android platforms, ultimately preparing for launches on major app stores. This year’s participants benefited from more than 170 hours of personalized mentoring, six specialized workshops led by industry experts, and training on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.

This edition of the programme represented a notable improvement from previous iterations, which offered 140 hours of mentoring to just 24 teams. The initiative not only helps entrepreneurs who may not have made it to the final stages of the Create Apps Championship but also provides essential training and guidance to help bring their products to market successfully.

Dubai’s Commitment to Digital Innovation

The Create Apps Accelerator Programme is critical to Dubai’s broader initiative to support the regional app development sector. By nurturing innovative ideas and equipping entrepreneurs with the tools and training they need, Dubai is strengthening its future as a global digital economy leader. According to Saeed AlGergawi, Vice President of the Chamber of Digital Economy, the programme reflects Dubai’s steadfast dedication to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

The recent launch of 32 new applications is not merely a statistic; it signifies the fruitful collaboration between the programme and its participants in enriching Dubai’s business landscape across advanced technology sectors. Such efforts collectively contribute to solidifying the emirate’s status as a global capital for the digital economy and a breeding ground for talented entrepreneurs from across the globe.
