Sony Middle East and Africa (MEA) has made a significant stride in promoting sustainable energy by completing a solar power project at its headquarters in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone. The initiative boasts a substantial capacity of 391.2 kWp, underscoring Sony’s commitment to environmental stewardship and reducing carbon emissions.

Offsetting Energy Consumption

The newly established solar power system is anticipated to offset approximately 40% of the total energy usage at the facility, which translates to a reduction of around 235 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually.
