To support this expanding fleet, essential infrastructure is being developed. So far, 32 high-capacity charging stations, each with a 360 kW output, have been installed across the city. One standout model currently in use is serving the important F13 urban route, which connects a metro station with the Al Quoz Industrial Area. This bus can cover an impressive distance of up to 370 km on a single charge, thanks to its robust 470 kWh battery. In 2025, Dubai saw a 12% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to the previous year, and an impressive 44% decrease when compared to 2022. Looking ahead, Dubai’s authorities are committed to further reducing emissions by 30% by 2030, with long-term plans for a completely zero-emission public transport system.
